In Sweden we have a law called ”All man’s right” which means it is free to enjoy being in the outdoors in Sweden. But with that right also comes certain obligations! That means you will leave each and every place you visit in the same way it looked upon arrival! In other words: You are obligated to keep the camp clean and pick up litter, you can not chop down trees or vegetation or damage them in any way, for fishing you need a valid Fishing License etcetera! On the Fishing License you can read about rules and regulations for fishing that you are obligated to follow. Our guide will give you a run through of them when you arrive. Note that if you DO NOT follow rules and regulations of the above, it can make you guilty of paying a fine according to Swedish Law.
By renting any items with Fishing with Bozell you approve and agree of handling the items with normal care. Any returned broken item that can be acclaimed broken due to faulty use or negligence will be held responsible to pay the insurance cost of between 50 and 200 Euros depending on what item is broken.
When renting ANY item such as kayaks, paddles and PDFs etcetera or hiring a guide from Fishing with Bozell, the renter/customer approves of doing so at their own risk, and being aware of that the activity involves risks. Fishing with Bozell should not be held responsible for accidents during, or getting to and from, rental/hiring period, unless the rented item with proven certainty have caused the accident due to not working properly from being broken when renting or not maintained properly by Fishing with Bozell, and/or if the guide is the proven cause of any accidents.
POLICY AND ACTIONS
We strongly believe and fish according to the policy of catch and release, and we do so in terms of the habitat we fish. That means we will not tolerate customers that fish to fill their boxes and bring the catch with them home. The only fish we do not release is the fish we and our customers will eat at camp. So please be advised that if you wish to fish to fill your boxes, you do not need to book fishing or rental at Fishing with Bozell!
At Fishing with Bozell we actively work to save and improve the environment, wildlife and waters in our area. We are members in the Swedish River Saver Association and also the Swedish Sportfishing Society, to whom we donate annually.
We believe in engaging locally! When we buy grocery, apparel and other things needed for our business, we buy from local stores and locally and ecologically produced whenever available. That means we always try to work in a way that is sustainable and good for all from the environment to local merchants and farmers.
So when you enjoy a good meal on a trip with us, you can happily eat it knowing that the meat, fish, potatoes etcetera comes from the very same soil and waters you are walking and fishing at that moment.
The renter/customer automatically approves of all of the above when renting or hiring at Fishing with Bozell
